If you would like to write to the council in support of our plans, here are some points you could include in your letter:

  • The project will supply enough clean energy for thousands of homes
  • Any effects on local landscape will be comparatively temporary and insignificant compared to the changes climate change will make
  • The community fund of £12,000 per annum will provide valuable services to the local community - that could be up to £300,000 over the life of the windfarm.
  • Thousands of tons of carbon dioxide emissions will be saved every year - we know burning coal, oil and the like is leading to long term changes in our weather that could be costly and harmful
  • I urge the council to take positive decisions that will help minimise climate change and protect the world's environment from harmful change.
